We aim to provide a platform for youth who are thinkers, visionaries and learners who will come together to be inspired and have the opportunity to inspire others on Saturday, August 19, 2017, in Lincoln, Nebraska. TEDxYouth@Lincoln is a local, independently organized event where we strive to re-create the unique experience found at TED, where the world’s leading thinkers and doers congregate to share their passions. At its core, the fundamental goal of TED andTEDxYouth@Lincoln is to foster and spread great ideas. Our format will be a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a broad range of subjects relating to our theme, "What Now?" to foster learning and inspiration. Interactive activities and areas to congregate will be used to provoke conversations that matter.

The theme “What Now” is broad and can relate to any number of subjects – technology, education, the humanities, culture, society, the list goes on. What is your idea to share the can change the world – or at least reframe someone’s perception? We want to know!

TEDxYouth@Lincoln is a series of events held under the umbrella of the TEDxLincoln team. Independently licensed by TEDx, these events look to young people in college, high school and middle school for the next generation of ideas.
