Matthew L. Blomstedt

Nebraska has always been a leader in education. Matt’s call to action is an engaged population passionate about education of Nebraska’s future generations, and focused on investing in the educational system of the state for the continued betterment of the educational system in Nebraska.

Matt is the Commissioner of Education and has spent his professional career in Nebraska community and education policy. Matt is a native of Nebraska and is the proud husband of Angela and their 5 children. He takes the role “Dad” to heart in his roles and responsibilities for all of Nebraska’s children.
